Two of our favourite things! Something to sip while you read? The Rose Lemonade Fizz is not only delicious, it’s also super simple to make.

If you received your October box, you’ll have found some rather lovely Rose Lemonade Tea from Taylors of Harrogate amongst your goodies… While we love to sip it steaming hot from a mug (preferably in front of an open fire, obviously), it’s equally delicious served as part of a sparkling cocktail. Read on for the recipe – no complex mixology skills needed.

Rose Lemonade Fizz

An extraordinary floral twist on the Kir Royale, this Rose Lemonade Fizz (developed with our friends from Portobello Road Gin) is a refreshingly bright and fruity cocktail treat.

75ml Taylors of Harrogate Rose Lemonade concentrate (chilled)
10ml sugar syrup
Top up with Prosecco (or Champagne)

Make the Taylors Rose Lemonade concentrate by brewing 8-10 teabags in 500ml of boiling water for five minutes – remove the bags and allow to cool to room temperature before using (the concentrate can then be kept in a bottle in the fridge for up to 24 hours).

Take a chilled Champagne flute, pour in 75ml of your chilled Rose Lemonade tea concentrate, a glug of sugar syrup and top with your favourite fizz. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and enjoy – cheers!
